In this section, we will show you how you can set up your email address in Microsoft Outlook on Desktop and Mobile devices (iOS and Android), when you host your website with Bold Web Design. Please note that the screenshots can be different to what you see on your screen, based on your version of Outlook (we’re using Microsoft Outlook 2016 on MacOS in this article).

1: First, you will need to go to the ‘Accounts‘ menu to add a new account. (If this is the first time that you set up an email in your Outlook, start from step 3.)

4: Enter your mail settings. Outlook will automatically set your Incoming & Outgoing server (it’s normally set to mail.[yourdomain]), which we need to change.
Please delete the text under the ‘Incoming Server’ section, and put cloud311.thundercloud.uk. Please do the same under the ‘Outgoing Server’ section, too. This will ensure your emails will use the right SSL certificate. The port numbers can stay unchanged. Check if the Email Address and the Username is set to your email address and put your password in provided in the setup email.

Click ‘Add Account’ and you’re done!


Setting up your email in Outlook on iPads, iPhones and Android devices

1: Click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner. (If this is the first time that you set up an email in your Outlook, start from step 3.)

2:  Select ‘Add Email Account’.

3: Enter your email address, click ‘Add Account‘ and enter your Password, the Display Name and the brief description if your account.

After a few moments of verification, you will be able to use your account from your mobile device.

Remember, if you forgot your email address, you will need to contact us (just give us a call or send an email to support@boldweb.co.uk). You can change your password any time by logging in to your account on webmail (webmail.[yourdomain.com]), go to Settings in the top right hand corner, and select Password in the sidebar on the left side.
